Daily Juicing and Other Healthy Tips for the New Year

If you have tried the juices from my previous posts, you have probably noticed how refreshed and energized a fresh juice makes you feel. Imagine feeling like that all the time every day! Won't it be superb! One of the simple ways to get there is by creating the practice of daily juicing i.e. drinking a freshly-squeezed vegetable juice every day. So simple! Yet so effective. Daily juicing will load you up with vitamins, minerals and digestive enzymes (by simply eating the veggies, the enzymes might remain locked in the fiber). It is also proven that daily juicing reduces the risks of life-threatening diseases like cancer, heart-attack, diabetes and other. To keep you inspired, I am offering below two more ideas of juices that you can prepare and rotate in your daily juicing routine. What else apart from juicing you can do to boost your health and feel better in the New Year? Consider these simple tips. Try to implement them in your lifestyle and your body will be grateful to you. Start slowly - it is not necessary to do all at once and be overwhelmed by changes and new habits. Just make a healthy choice every day (by going for a salad instead of a burger, by not missing your daily juice, by foregoing that piece of cake, etc.) and introduce a new healthy habit every couple of weeks or even monthly but stay with it!

Healthy Tips

  • Drink at least 2-3l high-quality water (filtered or spring water) DAILY.
  • Reduce salt and sugar and cut off any highly processed foods that come into bags and boxes, and that contain ingredients which meaning you don't know .
  • Move more - have your daily sports activity by going to the gym, walking, jogging, dancing, hiking or just climbing stairs.
  • Rest more - give yourself an extra hour of sleep or practice yoga and relaxation.
  • Eat more fresh vegetables, fruits and whole foods. Prefer organic whenever possible.
  • Educate yourself! Learn more about the benefits of eating healthy and how to make your choices. Remember that your health is in your own hands!
These are simple rules but they might have dramatic effect on your health and your life. Just start the new year by making the most profitable investment - that in your own health!

Ingredients:
  • 3 carrots
  • 1/2 celeriac head
  • 2 apples

A Juice in Green

Ingredients:
  • 3 apples
  • a bunch of celery
  • a handful of spinach
  • a juice of 1 lemon
